Frequently asked questions

Short answers about privacy, payments and what Fitframe can and cannot promise.

Does my photo leave my phone?

No. Face detection, background handling, cropping and sizing all run inside the Mini App on your phone. Our server never receives your photo or any face data. The only exception is the optional "Send to my Telegram chat" button: the finished file is passed to Telegram so it can be delivered to you, and we keep no copy.

Will my photo be accepted?

Fitframe builds photos to the published specification of each document and links the official source, but the issuing authority makes the decision. We cannot promise acceptance. Fitframe is not affiliated with any government.

What is capture-only mode?

Some authorities, such as the UK and South Korea, say photos must be unaltered or must not have a replaced background. In capture-only mode Fitframe only crops, scales and encodes your photo. Nothing in the picture is changed, so you need a plain wall behind you.

How much does it cost?

One photo set is 99 Telegram Stars. A family pack of four sets, valid for 30 days, is 249 Stars. The preview and all checks are free.

What do I get after paying?

The digital photo at the exact pixel size and within the file-size limit of the document, plus print sheets (4 x 6 in and A4, 300 dpi) with as many copies as fit and cut guides. You can download them or send the photo to your Telegram chat.

What if my photo is rejected?

If the issuing authority officially rejects your photo you can request a refund within 30 days with the /refund command in the bot. Refunds go back as Telegram Stars. There is a limit of two refunds per user in 90 days, and a family pack can be refunded automatically only while no set has been used.

Which documents are supported?

We only add a document when its numbers come from an official government or embassy source. Documents whose sources could not be confirmed are left out rather than guessed. See the documents page for the current list.

Which phones does it work on?

Any phone with a current version of Telegram. The photo tools download once (about 21 MB) and are then cached. On phones with WebGPU support they run faster; all others fall back to WebAssembly.

Can I take photos of children?

Yes, you can make photos for children. The rules for children and babies differ by document and are listed on each document page. For babies, a plain light sheet and a helper holding the camera usually work best.
